Asset Details Page

Click on any asset to view its details page, which shows:
  • Preview - The generated image
  • Base Name - Identifier for WordPress matching
  • Asset Type - City, State, or Sitewide
  • Created Date - When it was generated
  • Target Location - City/state this variant is for
  • Analytics - View counts and engagement

Understanding Base Name

base_name is critical for WordPress image swapping!
The base_name is how the WordPress plugin knows which localized image to show. It must match your WordPress image filename.

How It Works

When base_name is Set Automatically

  • ✅ Images synced from WordPress
  • ✅ Images generated using a synced reference

When You Must Set It Manually

  • ❌ Images generated without a reference
  • ❌ Images uploaded manually (not from WP)

Setting or Changing base_name

Open asset details

Click on the asset in your Assets list

Find Base Name field

Look for “Base Name” in the details panel

Enter the matching name

Type the filename (without extension) of your WordPress imageExample: If your WP image is storefront.jpg, enter storefront

Save

Click Save or the checkmark

base_name Rules

  • ✅ Letters, numbers, hyphens allowed
  • ❌ No spaces
  • ❌ No special characters
  • ❌ Must be unique within your website

Asset Analytics

On the details page, you can also see:
  • Total views - How many times this asset was displayed
  • Views by city - Breakdown by visitor location
  • Performance - Compared to other assets
