General

Localizer automatically shows different images to website visitors based on their city. Visitors from Houston see Houston-specific images, visitors from Austin see Austin images, etc.
No! Localizer is designed for non-technical users. If you can install a WordPress plugin and upload images, you can use Localizer.
Very accurate - we correctly identify the city for 95%+ of visitors. Location is detected via IP address, no permissions or popups needed.
No. Images are served from our global CDN, which is often faster than your own hosting. The script is tiny (<10KB) and loads asynchronously.

Image Generation

1-2 minutes per city variant. For multiple cities, multiply by the number of cities (e.g., 5 cities = 5-10 minutes). You can close the window and we’ll email you when done.
You can retry generation from the asset details page. Common causes include network issues or AI service timeouts. If problems persist, contact support.
Yes! Go to the asset details page and click “Regenerate” to create a new version. Your previous version is saved, so you can compare results.
Use a reference image when you want to maintain consistency with existing photos. Create from scratch when starting fresh or when you don’t have a suitable reference. Reference images automatically inherit base_name for easier WordPress integration.

Image Upload

.jpg, .webp, and .webp files are supported. SVG files are not supported.
10MB per image. We recommend optimizing images before upload. If your upload fails, check that the file is under 10MB and in a supported format.

WordPress Integration

If you generated from a WordPress reference image, base_name is set automatically. For new images created from scratch, go to Asset Details and set the Base Name to match your WordPress filename (without extension). For example, if WordPress uses hero-image.jpg, set base_name to hero-image.
Images are automatically available via our CDN. The WordPress plugin fetches localized versions based on visitor location. No manual sync needed - just ensure your website is connected and images have matching base_names.
They see your original/default image. Your site never shows broken images. The system falls back to state-level images, then sitewide images, then your original.

Prompt Tips

Be specific! Include details about style, mood, colors, and context. Instead of “coffee shop”, try “modern coffee shop interior with warm lighting, exposed brick walls, and comfortable seating”. Mention your brand context too - “for a law firm website” or “outdoor adventure brand” helps the AI understand your needs.
Yes, especially if you’re new to writing prompts! The Prompt Improver enhances your basic description with details that help generate better images. You can always edit the improved prompt if needed.
Good prompts include: specific style details (modern, rustic, minimalist), mood/atmosphere (warm, professional, energetic), context (for website hero, product banner), and relevant details (lighting, colors, composition). Avoid vague terms like “nice” or “good” - be descriptive!
Yes! When generating city-specific images, you can mention landmarks or local characteristics. For example, “Houston skyline at sunset” or “Austin music scene with live bands”. The AI will incorporate these details into the generated image.
